| The European Cluster Collaboration Platform (ECCP) aims to offer within seconds an overview of the real European cluster landscape by countries/regions and/or sectors– not only by mapping the cluster organisations but also showing their internal structure and mapping of their members, a feature which makes it unique. This identification of potential partners with their competences among a multitude of sectors and regions or countries is the very first step in the more complex internationalisation and collaboration process.
The platform also attempts for the first time to structure the cluster world not only in countries and regions, but also in meta-regions, like the Mediterranean, the Baltic Sea Region or the Danube region, in order to enable stronger collaboration in line with the political developments.
An innovative approach is the possibility that is offered the cluster organisations to present their profile not only in their main sector of activities, but also to related sectors, increasing as such their potential of getting involved in intercluster and cross-sectoral cooperations. From the map or from the table you have direct access to the profiles of the Cluster organisations and so to the full information provided by the cluster organisations.
