Promotion
Success Story / Achievements:

The OEC was founded in the year 2000. Since then, the number of partners has doubled (from 75 to over 160), the combined number of employees has increased by the factor of six (from 1,600 to 9,400), the number of export countries has grown by the factor of 9 (from 12 to 109) and the combined turnover  of the cluster partners has increased by the factor of 10 (from 230 million to 2.3 billion Euro per year).

Why should partners choose you for cooperation?:

The OEC is focused on renewable energy and energy efficiency. Among its partners are companies that have grown from small business to world market leaders in their respective fields in the last 15 year. The OEC has its home in Upper Austria, a leading region in sustainable energy in Europe and worldwide: Already today, renewable energy sources cover more than a third of all primary energy in the region. By 2030, all electricity and space heating will come from renewable energy sources.
