Canadian Superclusters on the final round for the national ISI competition
In July, we have informed you about the Innovation Supercluster Initiative, a competition launched by the Canadian government in May 2017 through the presentation of the 2017 budget. This competition is aiming at defining the country’s main superclusters and contributing to their growth and development up to $950 million CAD. Results are now published, on the Government of Canada website, through the page Innovation Superclusters Initiative: Shortlist of Applicants. At the end of this pre-selection process, nine consortiums have been taken on as finalist competitors, in many innovative sectors such as health and biosciences, advanced manufacturing or clean and sustainable energies:
