VII Balkan & Black Sea Conference DAYS OF CLUSTERS
Creating Cluster-Based Economic Development for a Sustainable Region 22 - 24 September 2016, in Ohrid, Macedonia
The BBS Conference “Days of Clusters” is the leading cluster event in the SEE, which had been held in Nis-Serbia 2010 – 2012; Sofia- Bulgaria 2013, Tekirdag-Turkey 2014 and Brasov-Romania 2015.
During the DofC 2016 conference presence of over 250 participants from 25 countries is expected. It is planned to have array of brokerage events B2B, B2C, C2C, meetings with businessmen and other events related to the development of business opportunities in the country and the region and bilateral agreements will be signed between various clusters of neighboring states.
There are two main sections planned, for:
- cluster managers/practitioners and representatives of the companies and
- academic section with focus on academics and researchers
Clusters and their members from the Balkan and the Black Sea region, as drivers for economic development, will be able to present their success stories and good practices. Special focus this year will be devoted to wine, tourism and textile. Wine Cluster Learning Trip will be organized during the third conference day. Academics and researchers will be able to publish their scientific papers which will be reviewed by Scientific Committee members from over 15 countries.
