The scientists at the Silesian University of Technology, part of Silesian Aviation Cluster, has developed a new platform called CORNELIA (Coronavirus Neurological Impairment). CORNELIA is a system that collects questionnaires on cognitive disorders related to COVID-19 by enabling the e-mail invitation of selected people by doctors to participate in an anonymous survey on the general health status of patients with COVID-19 and the occurrence of neurological symptoms in them.

CORNELIA is designed to support people diagnosed with COVID-19, who are affected by neurological changes. The aim of the project is to verify, by means of statistical and machine learning methods, the hypothesis of increased occurrence of neurological and cognitive disorders during the course of COVID-19 disease and to assess the scale of neurological complications after its cure.
