ARIES Oltenia is the cluster association of electronics and software companies located in Oltenia Region, the City of Craiova, in the South-West region of Romania. It aims at promoting and protecting the Romanian IT and electronic business environment, as well as the professional and commercial interests of its members. Being the trade and professional association of electronic and software companies in Oltenia region with good relations to the Universities, Local Administration, NGOs, and other business associations, ARIES Oltenia is perpetually interested in developing other services, activities, and partnerships for the promotion of its members' products and business relationships. Therefore, in the fight against the global pandemic COVID-19, the ITC Oltenia cluster has actively contributed to the actions carried out in the communities of the region and of the Craiova municipality through a project entitled 'Increasing the COVID-19 testing and detection capacity', by purchasing a microbiological safety cabinet of the Model Bio II Advance 6 Plus. The equipment will be donated in the upcoming days to the University of Medicine and Pharmacy of Craiova.
