On 2 November 2017 the University of Sheffield in the UK hosted the Global Opportunities & Exchanges Fair with the aim of promoting universities from across Europe. Poland was represented by Patryk Wawrzkiewicz, a student at the University of Gdańsk’s Faculty of Law and Administration, currently on exchange in Sheffield as part of the Erasmus+ programme. The Port of Gdansk Authority is one of two Polish companies to receive funds from the Connecting Europe Facility, within the framework of the CEF Blending priority. It has just been announced that the Port of Gdansk has been granted EUR 20 million in the competition. The "2017 CEF Transport Blending MAP Call" competition, with a pool of EUR 1 billion, has just finished. The total amount of subsidies applied for by companies from across the EU more than twice exceeded the resources allocated. ACHIEVEMENTS OF OBR CTM S.A. in 2017 Realization of the contract for delivery of the prototype ship 258 „KORMORAN” project was successfully completed. It was built by the consortium, which included OBR CTM S.A. In range of the above mentioned consortium, CTM was responsible for integration of the Integrated Mission System. CTM also produced and delivered to the ship Combat System, including: Combat Management System SCOT, Passive Defense System, Underwater Monitoring System, including: SHL-101/TM and SHL-300 sonars, and explosive charges to countermeasure sea mines „Toczek”.
