Norwegian Embassy and the Norwegian Section of the Scandinavian-Polish Chamber of Commercehas orgnized a Business Mixer in 16th November 16th in DNV GL Polish branch offices. The guests welcomed Carsten Nilsen, Chairman of the SPCC. He has informed that the Chamber has more than 400 members . The event was hosted by H.E. Karsten Klepsvik, the Norwegian Ambassador to Poland. The ambassador talked about long-term business contacts between Poland and Norway. During a meeting at the Gdańsk Business Club on 17th November this year Paweł Brzezicki – Administrative C ommissioner of Polish Steamship Company announced plans to establish the Maritime Investment Fund. The Fund will be based on the Danish model, where years ago a fund was established by shipowners, shipyards, insurance companies and the National Bank of Denmark. The nature of the Fund will be commercial and it will be subject to supervision by the Financial Supervision Authority. It will be able to issue bonds and mortgage bonds, among others.
