Cluster Strategy
Mission/Objectives: 

GEODEEP is the French cluster for geothermal equipment and solutions for heat and power production. Created only 2 years ago under the umbrella of the French Geothermal Association of Professionals (AFPG), GEODEEP hosts around 20 companies at the end of 2016.

The panel of GEODEEP members is large: international group, specialised companies with extensive experience in geothermal engineering services, power plant EPC, equipment manufacturing, drilling companies, project financing solutions. There are also specialized developers and integrators of geothermal projects and geothermal associations of professionals.

One of the key aspect of GEODEEP strategy is based on the implementation of two geological risk mitigation fund that will boost the creation of new geothermal power plants in France, French Overseas Departments but also abroad.

To achieve that, GEODEEP works closely with French and International partners: French national energy agency (ADEME), la Caisse des depots et consignations, the Global Geothermal Alliance…
