Cluster Strategy
Mission/Objectives: 

- To earn profit for all Partners participating in the Cluster by taking advantage of the variety of tools maintained by the Cluster, including but not limited to the knowledge base, know-how, professional competence and sales platform;

- To store the knowledge base necessary for the expansion of the Cluster, research and development (R&D) activities as well as different other joint operations and share the said knowledge base within the Cluster;

- To accumulate all sorts of professional competence and share it within the Cluster during meetings, seminars and consulting sessions;

- To increase the competitive ability of the Cluster participants in the market by taking advantage of the accumulated knowledge base, diversified competencies, engaging in internal projects and using other tools available in the Cluster;

- To create additional value added through development of new products and services or through improvement of the existing ones by taking advantage of the know-how and competence accumulated in the Cluster.

Details of support services: 

The cluster members shared the R&D infrastructure which includes the GPU servers, cloud facilities and the programming libraries. Also the cluster members participate in collaborative innovation projects and search for funding for R&D and innovation activities. The cluster members form a fully formed value chain and as such support each other in marketing and sales efforts. The cluster is further planning to expand its support services to include access to human resources, including the sharing of software programmers and software tools.

The Development of the Artificial Intelligence Technology Cluster (DI-TECH)

The cluster coordinator has one running R&D collaborative project funded from the ERDF programme Innovation Vouchers.

The cluster has further submitted a proposal for the ERDF funded project to develop the shared R&D infrastructure as part of the European Structural Investment Funds programme Inoklasteris.

Success Story / Achievements: 

Cluster coordinator Soundest (Lithuania) and member MonkeyData (Czech Republic) have attended trade mission in San Francisco, United States of America. Participating in Shopify Unite community conference was a great opportunity to make new contacts and expand sales opportunities for Cluster members.
