Cluster Strategy

The Automotive Cluster Bulgaria (ACB) is relatively young (founded in 2012) but quite successful non-profit organization which represents the interests of automotive manufacturers, suppliers and organizations providing services for the automotive industry in Bulgaria. It fosters synergies between the cluster members and supports their business growth and competitiveness through participation in national and international projects, professional automotive qualification programs, exhibitions, forums, cluster-to-cluster and business-to-business events, etc.
The ACB currently boasts 37 nationally and internationally renowned member companies which employ over 22,000 people in Bulgaria and over 665,000 worldwide. The members are - one OEM (original equipment manufacturer) assembler, Tier 1,Tier 2 and Tier 3 suppliers, four technical universities, facility management companies, logistics and other related firms. The universities that are part of the cluster are the main that provide workforce for the automotive industry in Bulgaria. The ACB is participating in different joint projects with the universities regarding trainings and dula education.
