Mission/Objectives: 

On behalf of the Free State of Bavaria, BioM Biotech Cluster Development coordinates the Cluster Biotechnology Bavaria (www.biotech-bavaria.de) with the aim to connect the different Bavarian biotech regions within a large network. Central tasks are; targeted scouting of research projects, technology transfer, networking, and international marketing of the region.

BioM also manages the Munich Biotech Cluster and is the gateway to all pharmaceutical biotechnology companies and start-ups in the region. An information portal at www.bio-m.org provides an extensive company database, news updates and a job market, and offers a wide range of services for incoming partners looking for business in Bavaria.

Awarded Germany´s Leading-Edge Cluster, the m4 - Personalized Medicine and Targeted Therapies program, coordinated by BioM, run successfully in 2010-2015, leading to drug development in a new dimension. The m4 Personalisierte Medizin association (www.m4.de) was established, open for everyone to join.
