Mission/Objectives: 

More than 2800 employees from 55 biggest software engineering companies, have been united since 2014 under BIT Alliance, the head organization of software industry in B&H. Each day, we are lead by a single-minded goal – to develop more opportunities at the software industry market, by dealing with numerous obstacles that are slowing down its growth. In order to develop positive business environment for further growth of B&H software industry, BIT Alliance continuously works on resolving two biggest issues that software companies are experiencing every day – the lack of highly skilled employees and poorly developed software industry infrastructure, accompanied with lack of development incentives.Objectives 

Cooperation with the Academic Community Our primary goal is to cooperate with educational institutions in revising the elementary school, high school and college curriculums according to the needs of the software industry. Cooperation with the Government We at Bit Alliance consider cooperation with the government one of the key factors for creating a favorable and stable business environment in B&H. Cooperation Among Member Companies A joint idea and mutual support makes Bit Alliance the synergy mechanism in which each member company represents an equally important link. Model of clusterisation is ste best way to share knowledge between our members and to gain our goals. United, we can do more, create more and share good practises from other clusters.

1.  Facilitation of collaboration between members: Through various activities, Bit Alliance creates value for companies through participation in various events, sharing knowledge in projects, technologies, enables company penetration in the international market and connectivity. Companies have the ability to create common values ​​through membership in the Bit Alliance claster. Bit Alliance organise gatherings where members can disscuss about actual topics and where they can arrange some projects. Also, Bit Alliance organise the formal assembly of the association where members choose the next strategic goals fot he association.  

2. Promotion of activities (marketing/visibility):

All the activities that companies implement with the aim of improving their business environment and promoting their activities, through membership in the Bit Alliance, have added value and greater visibility because the Bit Alliance is platform for IT industry.

3. Support of knowledge transfer: 

Allocation of current knowledge is the key importance for companies with regard to the field of IT industry. The IT industry is flexible, dynamic and has rapid changes. Companies within Bit Alliance have the ability to share current knowledge with other cluster companies with Bit Alliance has achieved the cooperation.

In the past four years, we gathered 55 IT companies and created cluster who became the platform for the IT industry in Bosnia and Herzegovina. We created the cluster which helps companies to grow and to resolve their problems.
