Eurotransmedia is a European project aimed at supporting the transmedia sector. Officially started the 1st of September 2013, the project will run for three years, until September 2016. We consider transmedia as the future of Media industry.

Success Story / Achievements:

In 2013, TWIST has won the leading place for the European project Eurotransmedia which is gathering media clusters to bridge digital content with emerging technologies.

This challenging project started on September 2013 and will end up on September 2016. The EuroTransmedia project gathers some of the most influent triple helix media clusters in Europe such as Cap Digital (France), Pole Media Grand Paris (France), Interface Europe (Belgium), Media Evolution (Sweden), Barcelona Media (Spain), Eesti Digikeskus (Estonia), Plaine Commune (France) and CINQ (Canada).

Their main goal is to develop cooperation between all the stakeholders along the value chain (industrials, SMEs, research labs, academics, and public authorities) and to address the transmedia revolution with innovative solutions and stimulate economic development at European level.

As main achievement, a coherent and unified research agenda and the related interregional joint action plan will be developed by the consortium in close partnership with regional authorities. This will help Europe and its regions to reach the top spots in the emerging globalized transmedia sector, forming a European wide, world class cluster of excellence in the field.
