Cluster Strategy
Mission/Objectives:

The strategy of cyberLAGO follows the vision to become the most important competence network of the digital economy as well as the most important partner in the field of digital change and central driver of digital innovations at Bodensee. Accordingly, the strategy is based on three columns. The overriding aim is to make the competences in the Bodensee region visible, to promote them, to use them and to link them sustainably. Targeted networking (regional and national) as well as knowledge, innovation and technology transfer play an important role.

The three columns are the following:

1. Strengthening the regional digital economy

2. Ahaping digital change in the region

3. Driver of digital innovation

BodenseeMittelstand 4.0

cyberLAGO is member of BodenseeMittelstand 4.0. BodenseeMittelstand 4.0 is intended to help regional SMEs perceive digitisation not as a "risk" but as an "opportunity". The project therefore supports small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) from Germany, Austria, Switzerland and the Principality of Liechtenstein in the digital transformation by bundling the expertise available around the lake from business, science and institutions close to SMEs, coordinating it and making it more accessible to regional SMEs.

Relevant Project References:
As part of BodenseeMittelstand 4.0, the first hackathon was held on a ship. cyberLAGO was involved in the conception and realization of the first hackathon on Lake Constance.
Promotion
Success Story / Achievements:

The network was founded by and in the city of Konstanz and became especially large there. For a year now, the network, which was designed from the outset as a Lake Constance network, has been trying hard to ensure that the perception of the "Constance Network" changes to the Lake Constance network. New members in the Lake Constance district, in Switzerland and in Liechtenstein are a confirmation that cyberLAGO is perceived as a regional network. cyberLAGO already cooperates with many partners from Switzerland, Liechtenstein and Austria and thus makes its role as a Lake Constance network even stronger.

Why should partners choose you for cooperation?:

A cooperation with cyberLAGO is especially valuable because the network is composed of different competences which can be used for projects. It is the largest international network of digital experts on Lake Constance. cyberLAGO establishes the contact to experts from the network and thus enables a know-how and knowledge exchange. The cluster initiative not only cooperates closely with universities and thus promotes the exchange between business and science, but also supports all questions concerning the digital transformation.
