Mission/Objectives:

Cooperation among the provinces Lower Austria, Upper Austria and Salzburg has made the Plastics-Cluster the largest network for plastics technology in Europe. The cluster partners profit in more ways than one: they are members of a large, supra-regional network, but enjoy the local assistance provided by the cluster management organisations ecoplus. The Lower Austrian Business Agency, Business Upper Austria and ITG Salzburg. Bio plastics, multi functional components and recycling are topics of special importance to the Plastics-Cluster in Lower Austria. Collaborative pre-competitive R&D projects of business and science form the basis for innovative products and services. Closely linked to the Mechatronics-Cluster the cluster also enables networking and the use of synergies between both sectors.
