  • September 22, 2016 - Canada's Clean50 Award recipient in Quebec

    Congratulations to two co-founders of Écotech Québec, Andrée-Lise Méthot and Guy Drouin, and to Vincent Chornet from Enerkem, who received the prestigious Canada's Clean50 Award for their contribution to green economy in Canada.

  • June 20, 2016 - Denis Leclerc re-elected by the International Cleantech Network to be president of the board.

    Congratulations to Écotech Québec's Denis Leclerc, for his reelection as president of the board of the International Cleantech Network (ICN). This organization, based in Copenhagen, gathers cleantech clusters from Asia, Africa, Europe, and North America. This cooperation aims to increase business opportunities by creating synergies between the companies, research centers, and local authorities of each of the partners.

  • May 25, 2016 - Summit on Parliament hill - recap

    On May 11 and 12, cleantech entrepreneurs gathered on Parliament Hill in Québec city to increase the elected officials' awaremess to the importance of cleantech. Participants met with Dominique Anglade, Minister oe Economy, Science and Innovation, Pierre Arcand, Minister responsible for the Plan Nord, Geoffrey Kelly, Minister responsible of Indigenous Affairs, and Luc Blanchette, Minister responsible for the Mining sector, among many others.

  • March 8, 2016 - An innovative partnership between Quebec, Ontario and British Columbia

    This is a first for Canada! Ecotech Québec, MaRS Discovery District and BC Cleantech CEO Alliance  have signed a Memorandum of Understanding to coordinate efforts to promote clean technologies, combat climate change and contribute to a strong, diverse, sustainable economy.

  • February 10, 2015 - Denis Leclerc Accelerates the Transition towards Clean Technologies

    Denis Leclerc, President and CEO of Ecotech Quebec and new President of International Cleantech Network, deploys numerous initiatives to develop the cleantech industry. Enviscope, a French newspaper, published this article about him.

  • October 28, 2014 - Ecotech Quebec Signes Two Cooperation Agreements in China

    As part of the Mission led by the Prime Minister Philippe Couillard, Écotech Québec signed two cooperation agreement with Yixing Industrial Park for Environmental Science & Technology and Qingdao City Construction Investment Group in order to achieve business and research partnership in the cleantech sector.

    Ecotech Quebec unveils the WHITE Paper for a GREEN Economy Through Cleantechs and proposes to equip Quebec and innovative companies to storm the global market for clean technology.

  • October 6, 2013 - INNO+ at Bell

    Écotech Quebec match making activity results in a partnership for the adoption of clean refrigeration systems in the data centers of a pan-Canadian telecom company: in the context of an INNO+ session, Bell welcomed 10 Écotech Québec members to present their environmental solutions to enhance energy savings at Bell’s data centres, office buildings and vehicle fleet. Carnot refrigeration which produces HFC-free refrigeration system now accompanies Bell across Canada. Read the Press release
