Mission/Objectives: 

Estonian Aviation Cluster (EAC) is a non-profit organization with the goal of bringing together the aviation industry and connecting it to the global network of aviation clusters. 

Objectives

✈    To build a new economic sector, giving new boost to Estonian economy ✈    To attract foreign direct investments, creating favorable conditions ✈    To increase cooperation along the value chain, e.g. ICT, logistics ✈    To tap growth opportunities, e.g. drones, digitalization ✈    To attract the best brains, opening up sector for ambitious start-ups

✈    Integrated MRO solutions – constant innovation and involvement of SME’s from connected sectors along the value chain ✈    Strategic partner to major airlines – Estonia has turned its main focus to ACMI market segment ✈    East-West Transit air cargo hub - working out opportunities for future growth such as an East-West Transit hub ✈    Digitalization of aviation value chain – opening up aviation sector for ICT companies ✈    Smart-green autonomous vehicles – inviting entrepreneurs to develop and test different applications by using drones and smart-green autonomous vehicles

Access to public support - to enhance opportunities for further international collaboration through different projects

Facilitation of cross-sectoral collaboration - cluster has very strong value-chain approach, which means that major growth is expected to come through collaboration with interlinked economic branches such as ICT, logistics etc.

Promotion of activities - developing well-recognized brand will be among the main focus areas for Estonian Aviation Cluster. 

Provision and facilitation of access to training - tackling labour issue will remain one of the cornerstones for success. Finding qualified labour is definitely a factor, which ise going to hold back growth if no measures will be taken. Bridging the education gap is therefore among key objective within the cluster.
