Euvita Cluster is organised on the territory of Northwest Croatia with the purpose of achieving programme aims of rural development and to connect small and medium enterprises in programmes of development of production and processing of agricultural products and rural tourism in accordance with the notion of sustainable development.
Its particular programme activity is creating pre-conditions for innovative programmes of development through the development of international cooperation, inter-sectoral and transnational cluster collaboration and partnership relationships.
Programme aims of the Cluster are directly connected with the issues of rural development and the notion of sustainable development as well as with the development of collaboration . .EUVITA has partnership and networking with local government, business networks and organisations, interregional cooperation with Local action groups (LAGs).In this respect, the Cluster is broadening its activities into some other issues such as renewable energy sources (Multipurpose use of biomass, pelletized fertilizer), environmental protection and preparation of programmes for financing from other EU funds, and it has been assembling a team of competent experts and consultants.
The area of possible cooperation: rural development projects, complete value chain of production and food processing especially healthy nutrition programme, natural medicine programme, natural cosmetic products ,processing of fruit, vegetables and herbs (Conventional and organic production), a complete education for entrepreneurship formally and informally, education in the complete chain of organic production, control and certification, also green enterprise, innovation management and joint development of new products, particularly nutritional properties, food supplements and honey program, international cooperation and partnership, also in rural tourism, production of green energy, partnership in eu projects, research and preparation, international cooperation.
Membership structure & leading members ; 17 Regular members with organized cooperation of a large number of subcontractors and 4 associate members : private companies ,,associations , public and R&D organisations, educational institutions , More than 100 family farms dealing with primary production work in cooperation with leading cluster members (conventional and eco- production).Cooperation possibilities: EUVITA has developed cooperation and partnership with other business cluster in food processing and with LAGs /rural development. EUVITA Cluster explores further possibilities of collaboration with networks and clusters in Hungary, Austria, Bosnia and Herzegovina ,Slovenia and Serbia. EUVITA has a partnership agreement with the food production network in Switzerland (with partners in Germany ).
