Mission/Objectives:

Imaginove is a triple-helix cluster, which federates and contributes to the expansion of projects and businesses in digital content and services industry in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region, rated the second one in France due to its economic weight. Imaginove assembles about 200 members, mostly innovative SMEs, but also academics, researchers, laboratories and public bodies. Clusters’ activities stimulate the region’s dynamics and boost its national and global growth. Imaginove experts support innovative SMEs, laboratories and universities in three main domains: Research & Development, Human Resources, Internationalisation and Business development. Imaginove is working closely with other clusters in Auvergne-Rhone-Alpes region as well as with local centers of excellence. The local centres ecosystem represents more than 500 SMEs (6000 employees), 18 research centres and 12 schools specialised in the artistic and creative industries. Lyon Urban Data  ( European Regional Development Fund) :

The Lyon Urban Data garthers since 2011 public and private actors who have the willingness to create a dynamic around the Smart City thematic. Besides, the « Grand Lyon »  developped in 2012 a smart city strategy with the approach «  Grand Lyon Métropole Intelligente » - « Big Lyon Smart Metropolis ». It integrates some différents elements : energy, innovating dematerialised services, new ways of mobility, territorial tools of innovation. This approach has the objective that the Grand Lyon becomes a lead territory for experimentations and the deployment of innovative services and purposes but also an actor, an enabler or a project initiator linked to his smart city strategy.

So, Lyon Urban Date aims to :

- build, to accompagn and to accelerate the co-creation and the expérimentation of new services and so to contribute of the «  Grand Lyon Métropole Intelligente » approach

- set up and to develop a Living Lab destined to test in real way new services and tools of some purposes around this thematic in cooperation with companies, research laboratories, local collectivities and some users.

- favorise open innovation, to share networks and to implicate users since the beginning of the conception

- permit to its members to build a program by for exemple operating a mutualisation of their skills and their respective ressources.

The operations managed by the association and/or their members lead to the establishing of some specifics conventions stating for exemple the rights and the obligations of each one for the tasks of intellectual ownership.

Imaginove participated to following European projects:

Full partner in CReATE project (FP7) – CREaTE promoted trans- and cross-regional cooperation of stakeholders involved in highly innovative clusters in the creative industries sector. In line with the overall objective of the “Regions of Knowledge” programme CReATE had the objective to strengthen the research potential of European regions, in particular by encouraging and supporting the development, across Europe, of regional research- driven clusters.

Associated partner in ACE Creative project (H2020). ACE Creative is the next generation of the ACE Acceleration Programme. ACE Creative is aimed at start-ups and SMEs mixing the latest technologies with creativity. ACE Creative will leverage a European network of expertise in training, investment and business coaching, ensuring these companies rapidly gain entry and grow into international markets

In these projects, as well as in cluster’s daily activities, Imaginove is animating the digital content end services ecosystem, managing open calls, matchmaking events, linking SMEs, academia, laboratories for further collaboration.

Why should partners choose you for cooperation?:

First of all, our cluster has in his team an EU project manager, graduated in European affairs and EU project management. She has 4 years of experience, worked previously at Cap Digital Paris Region cluster, where she coordinated Work Packages of 3 EU projects (TELL US, ACE and Open Cities) and was organisating various European and International events at Futur en Seine Festival for 3 years. She joined Imaginove team in October 2015. Her mission is to manage Imaginove’s EU projects and enhance the visibility of the cluster at the European level.

Then, as we already said before, our cluster assembles about 200 members in Digital Content sector and also 5600 contacts. On the European level, Imaginove is a Steering Board member of NEM (The EU Technology platform for New European Media), member of an European Cluster Collaboration Platform with a Bronze label for Clusters Excellence, member of EEN network (Enterprise Europe Network).
