The mission of the association is the prosperity of the human capital and economy of the Srednogorie region through partnership of all stakeholders.

Success Story / Achievements: 

Best practice that can be outlined in the work of Srednogorie Industrial Cluster is the Project “Srednogorie Laboratories”, which was recently successfully completed. The project is implemented partially with the financial support of Operational Programme "Development of the Competitiveness of the Bulgarian Economy" 2007 - 2013 financed by the European Union through the 'European Regional Development Fund "and the national budget of the Republic of Bulgaria.

The main focus of the project activities  are  to increase   the capabilities of Srednogorie Industrial Cluster for realization of technological transfer, increasing the innovation potential in R&D area, reaching new markets and expanding in the areas of activity.   Project „Srednogorie Laboratories” is a significant part from the research and development potential of the cluster and contributes for the implementation of best world and  european practices. With the realization of the project Cluster aims to promote and support cooperation and partnership between its members, the integration of research and applied skills, the increasing of competitiveness and technological potential.

As a result of the project are divided laboratory for raw materials with four subdivisions,laboratory for energy management and energy efficiency, laboratory for building and facility management, laboratory for management and maintenance of  industrial machinery and equipment, located in different places - industrial  and universities sites.

Project "Srednogorie Laboratories" creates the so-called "Knowledge triangle" between business, government and education and contributes to strengthening relations between them and the opportunities for implementation of innovations and the realizing of successful cooperation.
