Details of support services:
  1. Promotion of projects

INNOVI has a Project Commission formed by members of the cluster that are experts in R&D. This Commission meets every month to assess the interest and feasibility of the project proposals made by members of INNOVI. Those proposals that are aligned with the strategy of the cluster and are of interest to the development of the sector are promoted through the identification and searching of partners, scientific and technical expertise and funding for the project.

  1. Project management

Once a project is started within the cluster, from INNOVI we deal with the coordination of the project anddisseminateand transfer knowledge to partners and industry. If the project has received public funding, we also coordinate the preparation of technical and administrative documentation necessary to justify the project to the Public Administration.

  1. Organization of technical conferences and workshops

We organize technical seminars on different subjects of interest to members (viticulture, technology, R&D funding…). We also organize workshops with other entities or clusters from other sectors. These meetings aim to identify opportunities to specific challenges in the wine sector and generate projects to develop solutions to these challenges.

Some of these activities are exclusive for partners. Others are opened to the general public and members have special conditions and prices.

  1. Training

We organize training courses and seminars for the wine sector, for which members have special conditions and prices.

An example is the Catalan School of vine pruning. There are 4 types of courses: grade 1 – good practices, which is intended for people who has no experience and they want to discover a new world; grade 2 – pruning operator, which is intended for temporary workers; grade 3, technical pruning, aimed at managers of viticulture; and grade 4, which is focused on advanced level students that want to become trainers.Every season, different degree courses are organized in different DO's de Catalonia.
