Mission/Objectives: 

Strategy summary for the Lublin Enterprise Cluster (2008-2013 continuued 2014-2020):

  • creating a platform for the exchange of information, communication and cooperation between the participants of the cluster with a set of business tools available on-line
  • development of cooperation cluster of companies, universities, institutions, offices, government organizations from Lublin
  • the joint provision of services outside of the Cluster
  • mutual provision of services within the Cluster
  • facilitating the transfer of knowledge within the Cluster
  • implementation of joint business projects, education, training and research in order to reduce costs
  • joint implementation of projects and investments with a single entity belonging to the cluster would not be able to realize alone

Details of support services: 

As a cluster coordinator I am responsible for our communication platform. I facilitate the collaboration between members by communicating their needs to other partners. We do that by our web platform, newletters, forum and mass-mailing. We provide our partners with access to our headquarters facilities and installations. When choosing new members we try to diverse sectoral cooperation. Our web platform provides periodic information to all members and non-members. The manager provides a wide variety of activities to promote and increase market visibility of all partner's undertakings and ventures. Our recent success was a international mission to the Dominican republic (2016) to promote our collaboration with the Aviation Cluster Swidnik.

Success Story / Achievements: 

Mission to the Dominican Republic:

Between 01/22/2016 - 02/05/2016 representatives of the Aviation Cluster Swidnik and Lublin Enterprise Cluster went on a trade mission to the Dominican Republic. In paradise outdoors chosen partners have the opportunity to present their achievements to date and discuss future plans. During the meeting it was presented the local aviation market with the presentation of its key elements. Departure was also associated with a tour of the most important places of the country, whose main export commodity alongside gold and other metals are sugar, tobacco and coffee.

In the capital - Santo Domingo had the opportunity to see the Cluster Turistico de Santo Domingo and learn how it operates.

The main topics discussed at the official presentation were:

  • the possibility to cooperate with the Dominican Institute of Civil Aviation
  • implementation of energy-efficient LED lighting in the aviation industry
  • marketing for the aerospace industry
  • aviation training program at the Academia Superior de Ciencias Aeronauticas (ASCA) in Santo Domingo
  • the functioning of the Tourism Cluster of Santo Domingo
  • development of international air services in the context of private airports Aeropuerto Internacional de La Romana, Aeropuerto Internacional de Punta Cana and belonging to local governments: Lublin Province, Lublin city and the city and county Swidnik Airport Lublin Swidnik

In the unofficial team provided great fun BB Jazz Band, and at the palate guests took care of the chef, who has served local specialties.

Most of our members have developed a permanent nad stable position on regional market and have sufficient resources to continue our growth on international market.
