RMA BlueTech (TMA) (formerly The Maritime Alliance) is the cluster organizer for the San Diego maritime technology community with a growing international member base.  TMA fosters maritime business and BlueTech innovation through collaboration across the U.S. and the world. Its Mission is “Promoting Sustainable, Science-Based Ocean and Water Industries”. TMA serves as an important Blue Voice via unique events, information sharing, national & international outreach, networking, research, and workforce development.

TMA is the largest BlueTech (ocean & water tech) cluster in the U.S. and one of the largest in the world.  We try to help create Blue Economy and BlueTech clusters in the U.S. and globally.  We helped organize the BlueTech Cluster Alliance that was launched in January 2017 and now has 10 leading BlueTech clusters from 8 countries (including 6 European countries).
