Mission/Objectives:
  • Minalogic is a global innovation cluster for digital technologies serving France’s Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region.

The cluster supports the region’s leading innovators by facilitating networking, fostering collaborative R&D, and providing companies with personalized assistance throughout all phases of business growth. The products and services developed by our members address all industries, from ICT and healthcare to energy and advanced manufacturing including Defense and Dual Use applications.

Minalogic was founded in 2005 and today boasts approximately 400 members, including 320 companies. Almost 20% of these companies are developing or integrating solutions/products that have a direct or indirect link to the Defense sector and could be targeted by the project.

The cluster has certified more than 450 projects that have secured total government funding of €838 million of the more than €2 billion in total R&D spending these projects represent. The 67 projects completed to date have resulted in 56 products (either on the market or in the process of being prepared for market release) and generated €3,6 billion in revenue.

Minalogic was awarded with Gold Label for Cluster Excellence for 2nd time in 2016 assessing of the high quality of its management and the impact of its activities.

Minalogic is founding member of the Silicon Europe Alliance. In the Silicon Europe Alliance 12 leading European semiconductor clusters bring together the technological expertise and resources of Europe’s leading players in micro- and nanoelectronics, one of the recognised “Key Enabling Technologies”. This “cluster of clusters” represents over 2 000 members (over 75% SMEs) and more than 250,000 jobs. This makes the Silicon Europe Alliance one of the biggest technology clusters in the world.
