 Tunisians and foreigners have invested in this territory, in particular Spanish (Sanlucar), Dutch (DesertJoy) and Moroccan companies (GeoProduction).

 - A promising activity has a high employment potential (10 to 15 jobs per hectare);

- Production of a variety of early-season quality vegetables grown in greenhouses (tomatoes, aubergine, melon, cucumber, pepper, zucchini ...) exported abroad in winter;
