Mission/Objectives: 

Tuinbouw Promotie Emmen  is working together with entrepreneurs, governments, education and knowledge institutions; the so-called ‘triple helix’. Working to provide  a healthy, vital and sustainable future for the regional horticulture cluster. The cluster includes all companies and organisations that are active in the field of food and floriculture: from trade to production and from breeders to logistic companies. 

Tuinbouw Promotie Emmen  is organizing  actions  to realize a healthy, vital and sustainable future for the regional cluster and a good  communication with  people living in and  near the cluster   

In charge are  the Entrepreneurs ; governments facilitate, and, when it comes to the knowledge of the future, education and knowledge institutions create the basis for the entrepreneurs to be successful. 

Tuinbouw Promotie Emmen  is  stimulating regional cooperation from a national and international perspective. We are acting  in think working groups, tanks, and executive organisations

Success Story / Achievements: 

Tuinbouw Promotie Emmen  is  organizing every year in spring a public  event where people can visit  horticulture farms( 7-10) during 2 days , the visitor get  info  about  the growing systems , work activities  and cultivation systems . Part of the event is a flower and vegetable show which is made in cooperation with students from Zone College Zwolle. Every Year visit by ±9000 visitors

In October  Tuinbouw Promotie Emmen  is organizing an art event   in  6 or 7  Horticulture Farms ,   in every  location there are  artists showing and selling their art-objects  and in every location there are two performances  from music  groups or artists  . There are food and drink trucks /stands and info about food production.  This event is a cooperation between NL Stenden University, Tuinbouw Promotie Emmen , DAFW  and Terra College.  Every year 4000 visitors.
