Mission/Objectives: 

Cluster’s mission is the formation of a strong and stable organization in Silesia Voivodeship being able to meet any need pertaining the fields of informatization, telecommunication and project engineering.

Strategic goals:

  • Facilitation of access to domestic and European sources of funding;
  • Aggregation of informational and material resources and creation of consortia for R&D and application projects;
  • Support in the area of marketing and promotion;
  • Development of cooperation between members of the Cluster and other domestic and foreign entities.

The cluster provides services in the field of information and preparation of application documents for R&D and investment projects egilable for public suport.

The cluster provides direct advisory services in the field of R&D project creation, project management and commercialization of research and development works.

The cluster mediates in exchange of information about products and services offered by its members, as well as establishing project consortiums with the participation of its members.

  • Periodic Information dissemination

The cluster disseminates information which may be of interest to its members using the cluster’s newsletter and website.

  • Support of technology transfer

The cluster supports technology transfer between participating scientific institutes and businesses and it has large practical experience in this field.

Development of Silesian e-Business Cluster and its Transformation into Silesia ICT Cluster

The project started in January 2013. Its objective is to form a strong and stable organization in Silesia Voivodeship which will be able to meet any need pertaining to the fields of information and communication technologies, as well as project engineering.

The cluster is a multi-regional entity, although most of its members are located in Silesia. It works in the broadly understood field of development and application of ICT systems in various areas of the economy and administration. It has a strong representation of scientific institutions, which promotes the development of knowledge and technology transfer in the area of ICT.
