Mission/Objectives: 

STIIM Aqua Cluster works to develop innovations that will create sustainable growth within aquaculture on a national and international level. 

Innovation is encouraged through the transfer of knowledge and technology between industries, the development of methods and tools to help start-ups, and facilitating for cooperation between the aquaculture-industry and R&D.

Details of support services: 

The cluster offers the growth-programme Ocean of Opportunities for start-ups and SME within the aquaculture industry. The growth-programme concludes with an event where the companies present themselves to investors. 

Stiim provides direct advisory services to member companies and facilitates access to regional and national programmes. 

Promotional activities for member-companies at national aquaculture-events and expos are coordinated and initiated by the cluster. 

The cluster's networking activities and other events are dedicated to support knowledge transfer.

Stiim Aqua Cluster represents an ecosystem for innovation in aquaculture. The cluster is located on the south-western coast of Norway. Amongst the cluster´s more than 75 members are companies within aquatechnology and aquaculture, start-ups, financial institutions, academia and research communities.
