AGROBOFOOD. agROBOfood is dedicated to accelerate the digital transformation of the European agri-food sector through the adoption of robotic technologies. It will consolidate, extend and strengthen the current ecosystem by establishing a sustainable network of DIHs. This will boost the uptake of robotic solutions by the agri-food sector: a huge challenge requiring an inclusive approach involving all relevant European players. The agROBOfood consortium has 39 partners, led by Wageningen University & Research and other core partners of previous key projects such as IoF2020, ROBOTT-NET, PicknPack and I4MS, to leverage the ecosystem that was established in those projects

ACTTiVAte aims to foster cross-sectoral innovation among SMEs from four different sectors, aerospace, agri-food, health and ICT, allocating 85% of the project budget to SMEs. ACTTiVAte will focus its effort in setting up strategies that allow clusters to lead the engagement of SMEs in activities intended to create new services and products and therefore the generation of new value chains and emerging industries across Europe

IOF2020. The project Internet of Food & Farm 2020 (IoF2020) explores the potential of IoT-technologies for the European food and farming industry. The goal is ambitious: to make precision farming a reality and to take a vital step towards a more sustainable food value chain. With the help of IoT technologies higher yields and better quality produce are within reach. Pesticide and fertilizer use will drop and overall efficiency is optimized. IoT technologies also enable better traceability of food, leading to increased food safety.

AGRISECH. The project aims to optimize water and agricultural inputs in Sechura, a desert province located on the northeastern coast of Peru, with the design and construction of a pilot project based on the experience accumulated in the Almeria model, demonstrating its high efficiency for both optimization in the use of natural resources (water, land, renewable energy, ...) and agricultural inputs (fertilizers, phytosanitary products, ...), such as for increasing the levels of yield, productivity and diversification of production.

Success Story / Achievements:

Success stories of the cluster:

ACTTiVAte (INNOSUP-1-2015 Gran Agreement Nº 691473):The overall concept of the ACTTiVAte project is to support innovation in SMEs and foster the smart reindustrialization of Europe. This is be achieved by enabling the emergence of new cross-border and cross-sectoral value chains resulting from the translation of advanced technologies among selected sectors with strong synergies. These new value chains are being created through the interaction between the following sectors: Aerospace, Agrifood, Health and ITC.The development of the new value chains is facilitated by setting up geographical poles of activitiy in different regions across Spain, Portugal, The Netherlands, Ireland and Poland

Global Viti is an industrial driven project financed by CDTI in the CIEN call. The main goal is the global  positioning of the Spanish wine sector, in regards of solutions provider and innovative techniques to solve problematics such as wood diseases, integrated management and wine process in a context of climate change. The project is using a wide range of technologies for this purposes including IoT, Big Data, robotics, Biotechnology and Molecular Biology.

IOF 2020: Internet of Food and Farm 2020 (H2020: Grant Agreement Nº 731884):

The internet of things (IoT) has revolutionary potential. A smart web of sensors, actuators, cameras, robots, drones and other connected devices allows for an unprecedented level of control and automated decision-making.

Why should partners choose you for cooperation?:
