Mission/Objectives: 

MISSION Improve the quality of life of patients and citizens through the enhancement of the capacity for technological innovation in healthcare companies, universities, foundations and other actors at the national level.

VISION Being an international reference in the realization of technological innovation in health, through cooperative work among network members and various regional, national and international entities

 

OBJECTIVES

OBJ 1: CREATE A BRAND IMAGE that allows potential customers worldwide identify TICBioMed with quality, design and innovation OBJ 2: EMPOWERMENT OF eHEALTH BUSINESS STRATEGY in order to increase the regional and national market share, through access to new market segments and consolidate a portfolio of partners that generate business opportunities in turn, facilitate access to foreign markets. OBJ 3: IMPROVING BUSINESS TECHNOLOGY CAPACITY aligning its research and development with the needs of healthcare organizations. OBJ 4: IMPROVE FINANCIAL CAPACITY OF FIRMS through access to new sources of public and private funding.

ACTION LINE 1: COOPERATION ARENA

  • Identify and develop mechanisms that encourage continued contact between members of TICBioMed
  • Create spaces that can ensure ongoing communication.
  • Increase national and international visibility of the members of TICBioMed.
  • Ensure that the interests of the AEI are reported to the Administration. with a common voice and with full awareness of its implications for the business.

ACTION LINE 2: JOINT CAPABILITIES

  • Identify / develop qualification programs and training to ensure the availability of people trained according to the specific needs of the sector
  • Use of available resources in the environment of the AEI to execute collaborative projects to scale the value chain.
  • Improve access to sources of finance, credit and other financial services

  • Seek new markets developing mechanisms to ensure that its members are aware of new opportunities

Success Story / Achievements: 

eHealth Adoption Awards to recognise the work of adopters and their technological suppliers in implementing eHealth innovation for the benefit of patients

The eHealth Competition is an initiative that rewards the best eHealth/ mHealth solutions produced by SMEs (European Small and Medium Enterprises). Its objective is to support business success of SMEs by giving them visibility together with marketing opportunities to attract customers, partners and external capital.

Invierte salud The national event, in Spain, that contacts companies and investors in digital health

eHealth Roadshow is an initiative that organizes events in different Spanish regions with target companies to present the latest technology for health. The target audience are managers, prescriptors, technical and socio-professional health organizations. The dynamic is designed to encourage participation agile and exchange with the audience.

TICBioMed is a proactive cluster that periodically identify the need of their members/ sector to define the activities where the organisation is going to focus the efforts.
