By developping an European Strategic Cluster Partnerships for Smart Specialization Investments (ESCP-S3), Mov’eo aims to set up the European Connected Mobility Alliance (ESCP) which will bring together the significant European actors working on the new value chain for the connected vehicles.
By teaming up with European clusters and regions, we target to develop a strong network with the common interest to foster the traditional European Automotive Industry and the new players which also play a strategic position regarding the European growth and competitiveness.
The European Automotive Industry is currently handling key challenges about its future (at different scales). For this, the European Connected Mobility Alliance is seeking to solve the main digital transformation issues and the other competitive factors that are affecting this sector. As part of this alliance, we also target to enhancee competitiveness and growth of participant regions which already expressed those issues regarding their Smart Specialisation.
New disruptive technologies in the transportation field enabled systems with the capacity to improve safety, efficiency, sustainability and comfort. Advances in vehicle automation will allow their circulation with a minimal human intervention in the near future, as it has been already demonstrated through several pilots in the US, Japan and the EU. Major car manufacturers are selling vehicles which carry out the driving task, but are not entirely safe and require constant supervision. This brings additional technical; and especially non-technical; challenges that need to be addressed in order to ensure safe adoption of level 3 automated vehicles.
We are looking for ICT, Automotive and Mobility clusters.
Please, do not hesitate to contact for any further information.

To whom it may concern,
Baden-Württemberg is one of the economically strongest regions in Germany and Europe. A network of excellent research institutions and powerful industrial clusters are the base of the region's global competitiveness.
Baden-Württemberg: Connected (bwcon) is the leading business initiative for the promotion of the high-tech sectors in the region, amongst which mobility is a main sector of interest. Already we are participating in the ESCP Cluster Partnership Mobility Goes International (MobiGoIn) focusing on Smart Mobility. Beyond the project we would be very interested in continuing this thriving partnership and extend on our collaboration with Mov'eo for the European Connected Mobility Alliance tackling pressing mobility issues of the future regionally and on a European and international scale.
