With great pleasure, we invite you to a unique event dedicated to analyzing the current state, role, and future of clusters in Poland – the 10th Congress of Polish Clusters, which will take place on November 6-7, 2024, in Białystok.

This event serves as a key point of reference for representatives from business, academia, and administration who are seeking innovative solutions and ways to further develop. This year’s edition of the Congress holds special significance, as it coincides with the 20th anniversary of Poland's membership in the European Union and the 10th anniversary of the dynamic innovation growth enabled by clusters and European funding. Clusters play a crucial role in fostering innovation, supporting small and medium-sized enterprises, and implementing green and digital transformations in line with the goals of the European Green Deal and Industry 4.0. The Congress will provide an opportunity to review the achievements of the last 10 years of cluster activity.

The program will feature discussion panels that will allow for an in-depth analysis of both the accomplishments and the future challenges faced by clusters and the sectors of the economy that collaborate with them. Over the course of the two-day event, numerous thematic panels are planned, featuring key representatives from government, regional administrations, as well as business and scientific leaders.

The program includes the following panels:

Panel I: “Innovation and New Technologies in the Development of the Economy and Infrastructure of Polish Regions” – discussing the role of clusters in the development of innovation and regional infrastructure in Poland.

Panel II: “The Food and Agricultural Industry as Innovative Sectors of the Polish Economy” – focusing on the importance of the agri-food industry in regional development.

Panel III: "Innovation and Development Require Investment!" – addressing the financing of innovative projects from national and EU funds.

Panel IV: "Poland’s Industrial Transformation" – focusing on the role of clusters in Poland.

Panel V: "Green Transformation" – focusing on new energy sources.

Panel VI: Supporting the Export of Polish Companies and Foreign Investment – addressing support for exports and internationalization.

Panel VII: Digitalization of the Economy. The Role of the ICT Industry in Innovation – examining the role of industry in the development of new technologies.

Panel VIII: Scientific Cooperation Through Clusters, Innovation, and Technology Transfer – discussing scientific collaboration and technology transfer in the context of clusters and innovation development.

Panel IX: Biotechnology, Medicine, Life-Sciences – focusing on biotechnology and medicine as areas supported by clusters to improve quality of life.

Panel X: DEI (Diversity, Equality, Inclusion) – What is it, what is it for, and is it necessary in Polish companies? – discussing the importance of diversity, equality, and inclusion in companies and clusters, and their role in building diverse teams.

The event will culminate in a study visit on November 8, 2024, to the Podlaskie National Key Clusters, including the Polish Construction Cluster and EVOLUMA Industrial Cluster, where participants will have the opportunity to see how clusters implement their innovative initiatives in practice.
