A few days ago, one of the most important events took place – the 10th Polish Cluster Congress, which was held on November 6-7, 2024, at the Opera and Philharmonic in Podlaskie in Białystok.

The event brought together representatives of clusters, entrepreneurs, research institutions, and public administration, who discussed the future and potential for further collaboration. The Silesian Aviation Cluster had the honor of being the substantive patron of this meeting.

The Congress program featured 10 thematic panels that addressed key issues concerning regional development, industry, and scientific collaboration. Among the discussed topics, the following are particularly noteworthy:

Panel I: Innovations and new technologies in the development of the economy and infrastructure of Polish regions.

Panel II: The food and agricultural industries as innovative sectors of the Polish economy.

Panel III: Innovation and development need investment!

Panel IV: The industrial transformation of Poland.

Panel V: Green Transformation.

Panel VI: Supporting the export of Polish companies and foreign investments.

Panel VII: Digitization of the economy. The role of the ICT industry in creating innovation.

Panel VIII: Scientific cooperation through clusters, innovation, and technology transfer.

Panel IX: Biotechnology, medicine, life sciences.

Panel X: The dual-use products industry as a response to contemporary security challenges and an opportunity for Polish enterprises.

On the third day, participants had the opportunity to take part in study visits. The first one began at EVOLUMA Industrial Cluster (formerly KOM), where they could familiarize themselves with the activities of "SmartKOM – DEMOLAB Competence Center" at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering at the Białystok University of Technology. Afterward, participants visited the Polish Construction Cluster headquarters (Pułkowa 11, 15-143 Białystok).

The 10th Polish Cluster Congress in Białystok was an excellent opportunity for exchanging experiences and establishing new contacts between representatives of Polish clusters.

As the Silesian Aviation Cluster, we especially emphasize the need for the development of innovative technologies in the aviation sector and its integration with other industries. We know how important collaboration is in this field, and we thank all participants for the time spent together.
