As we look back on 2024, we take great pride in our involvement in pivotal projects. We had the honor of becoming a business partner of the SkyPort Sectoral Skills Center—an initiative that is reshaping the landscape of education, training, and certification for specialists in the operation of airport facilities and terminals in the region. 

A Unique Regional Initiative 

BCU SkyPort was designed to address the growing needs of the aviation sector by fostering the development of modern talent. Through a collaborative effort between the Vocational Training Center in Katowice and the Silesian University of Technology’s Faculty of Transport and Aviation Engineering, the project successfully established a state-of-the-art educational space equipped with cutting-edge technology, enabling professional growth at the highest level. 

Training Tailored to Diverse Audiences 

The mission of BCU SkyPort is to support various groups, including students, educators, and adults seeking career changes, in acquiring, enhancing, and refining their knowledge, skills, and professional qualifications. This year demonstrated the feasibility of our vision, with the strong interest in training programs confirming that we made the right decisions and are heading in the right direction.
