CEAGA launches the second edition of the Talent Race project
The Galician Automotive and Mobility Cluster has launched the second edition of its Talent Race, an initiative that seeks to attract and connect young talents from universities and vocational training centres with the automotive industrial ecosystem in Galicia. This project offers students the opportunity to participate in a platform where real industry challenges are presented, allowing them to propose innovative solutions and make themselves known in the sector.
A platform of challenges and opportunities. The Talent Race is aimed at students who are in the final year of their university studies, training courses or master’s degrees. In addition, these challenges are a good opportunity for students to find ideas and opportunities for the completion of their Bachelor’s and Master’s theses. This year, participants will be able to choose between two categories of participation: individual or team (2 to 4 members), and respond to challenges, proposed by 18 leading companies in the sector, related to industrial operations, logistics, sustainability or vehicle development.
This project aims to raise awareness of the industry in the educational and university environment. In addition to the proposals, the 18 participating companies will offer students the opportunity to meet leading industry players up close, access guided tours of companies and apply for internships, scholarships and job offers.
The 18 leading companies in the sector that are driving this second edition are: OP Mobility C-Power, Gestamp Vigo, Benteler Automotive Vigo, BorgWarner Emissions Systems Spain, Grupo Copo, Denso Sistemas Térmicos España, Galicia Auto Estampación, GKN Driveline Vigo, Lear European Holding, Maier Ferroplast, Magna Seating Vigo, Megatech Industries Orense, OP Mobility Exterior Business Group, Serveo Servicios en Industria, ZF Lifetec, Grupo Marsan, SMRC Automotive Interiors Spain and Constellium Automotive Spain.
