The EU Industry Days are Europe’s flagship annual event focusing on key industrial policy discussions, connecting industrial frontrunners, and boosting the knowledge base of European industry. This year, the event takes place in Málaga, Spain, on 4-6 October 2023, and brings together policymakers, industrial stakeholders, and experts from a wide range of sectors and countries.
The sessions at these EU Industry Days focus on the main drivers, opportunities and challenges of the green, digital, and resilient transition, the EU open strategic autonomy, the integration of Ukraine into the single market and the reinforcement of the EU defence industry capacity. The high-level speakers include European Commissioner for Internal Market Thierry Breton, and Director-General for Internal Market, Industry, Entrepreneurship and SMEs Kerstin Jorna.
The European Cluster Collaboration Platform, on behalf of the European Commission, organised the EU Clusters Talk “EU Industry Days: Takeaways from Europe´s flagship event for industry” on 11 October 2023, 8:30 – 9:45 CET, to summarise the key messages from the event and reflect on takeaways for clusters and SMEs.
