Euroclusters new call for proposals is now open for submission
The European Commission has launched an open call for collaborative cluster initiatives under the Euroclusters programme. This ambitious call aims to bolster Europe's industrial ecosystems, focusing on innovation, the adoption of advanced technologies, and ensuring strategic autonomy. With a budget of €42 million, the initiative supports the EU's New Industrial Strategy, the Green Deal Industrial Plan, and the SME Strategy, encouraging green and digital transitions. It also emphasises workforce upskilling and strengthening value chains within the EU Single Market while fostering international partnerships.
Proposals can target areas such as critical raw materials and net-zero technologies. Up to 16 projects will be funded, with at least 8 focusing on these critical areas, lasting up to 36 months. Euroclusters further aims to expand Europe's access to global supply and value chains, ensuring resilience and future competitiveness.
Interested organisations must apply by 5 February 2025, with funding open to legal entities from eligible EU countries. This call marks a significant step in enhancing Europe's industrial autonomy, aligning closely with the EU's broader strategy for economic security.
