Description
METASTARS and the European project In Transit are organising the webinar ‘Industry 5.0’ on Tuesday 01 October at 15:00h. CET. The session will present the main technological areas of Industry 5.0: robotics and cobotics, monitoring, innovative 3D printing processes, modelling and simulation, data management, drones.
In addition, 5 examples will be shared in the fields of aerospace robotics (Happy project), industrial processes (ASPEN project), construction (ROBY project) and the medical field (to be confirmed).
The speakers will include the technical manager of the aerospace sector and production processes at CTA, Silvia de los Santos; the director of Innovation at IRT Jules Verne, Guy Caverot; and Eduardo Ferreras, Project Portfolio Manager, specialist in AI and robotics at CATEC.
Ensuring efficiency in the use of European funds involves generating synergies between the different projects funded by the Commission, which is why this event has been prepared in collaboration between InTransit and METASTARS, two initiatives which promote resilience and sustainability in the aerospace sector.
The InTransit project aims to strengthen the resilience of textile, aerospace and construction SMEs as greener and more digital sectors with a mixed support mechanism that includes individual coaching and a funding voucher to ensure their consolidation and sustainability.
METASTARS is part of the Euroclusters initiative and aims to increase the resilience of European SMEs in the aerospace and defence sector, as well as to enhance the collaboration of European aerospace clusters in their interaction with other clusters related to technologies of interest to the aerospace sector, such as ICT or the energy sector.
