Congratulations to MIPA d.o.o. awarded under the SILEO 1^st Call for Advanced Technology Uptake Projects!

MIPA d.o.o. company was establish to develop and market next generation of traffic signs where there will be less traffic signs and alerts by the road, and those will be smart & connected. We developed and are in a patent pending process of a system to alert drivers on their safety distance – an active LED RGB sign placed on a road infrastructure (poll by or above the road) that alerts individual driver if their safety distance between the vehicles is sufficient or not. System collects data about the traffic and safety distance between the vehicle from a camera that is also placed by the road which is connected with a computer that process the data, stores them, and sends them to web and most critical information sends to the LED sign. Company is based in Slovenia with its R&D and production.

Advanced Analytics-Driven Safety Distance Alerting System (AA.safty)

The AA.safty project is a collaborative initiative between MIPA and technology provider Tinkerlab, a renowned tech company with expertise in data science, artificial intelligence, and machine learning. The AA.safty project builds upon MIPA's existing safety distance alerting system, which utilizes AI to detect and classify vehicles, calculate real-time safety distances, and provide immediate driver feedback via LED panels. This project aims to integrate advanced analytics tools and an AI module to significantly enhance the system's effectiveness, creating a more comprehensive and data-driven approach to improving traffic safety. MIPA is steadfast in its commitment to integrating advanced technologies and circular approaches, viewing them as pivotal for future-proofing its business and aligning with broader sustainability and digitalization goals. The implementation of this project is a cornerstone of this strategy, symbolizing a significant investment in the future of traffic safety and environmental stewardship.
