Nanotechnology as a Key Tool in Environmental Protection

Representatives of the Nanoprogress cluster organization participated in the Envishop expert seminar, which addressed current challenges and advances in environmental protection. The event brought together a diverse group of experts from scientific and research institutions, SMEs and clusters specializing in environmental technologies, nanotechnology, biotechnology, chemical engineering and related fields.

The seminar presented progress in innovative projects using advanced technologies to solve environmental problems. Key topics included water treatment methods, such as groundwater and rainwater purification, and the use of nanofibers as substrates for biomass growth and structures for capturing microorganisms in wastewater treatment. In addition, microbiological techniques for wine refinement and other groundbreaking solutions were presented.

Lively discussions among participants expanded on the presented concepts, explored potential applications and identified opportunities for collaboration. The seminar played a crucial role in fostering partnerships and supporting innovation in the field of sustainability and environmental protection.
