Tèxtils.CAT announces the 2nd call for DEVELOP projects from In Transit with 1.4M EUR in funds
Tèxtils.CAT, the Catalan Cluster of Advanced Textile Materials, announces the second call for DEVELOP projects from In Transit project.
The second call for proposals from the In Transit project includes an overall budget of 1.4M€ to support SMEs with lump-sums for the development of innovative and sustainable processes, products and new circular business models is essential to increase the competitiveness the textile, aerospace, advanced manufacturing, and construction industries. Applications must be submitted through the dedicated platform before the deadline of January 16th at 17h CET.
DEVELOP grants are the main instrument of In Transit project to support and consolidate innovative technical demonstrations and integrations in improved processes, new business models, or value chains. In Transit aims to select 29 SMEs in this second with individual or consortia projects with a maximum lump-sum of 49k€ per SME or 98k€ per consortia.
Tèxtils.CAT assessment of cascade funding mechanisms like the one in In Transit is truly remarkable, over the past 2 years 25 cluster members have received more than 892k€ so far for implementing their innovative projects, internationalization plans, and to drive the green and digital transition in the advanced textile materials sector of Catalonia, out of which 245k€ in the first In Transit DEVELOP Call among five companies: Incabo, Hilaturas Arnau, Tèxtil Torné, Technitiger and Texfire.
In Transit is a key strategic project of Tèxtils.CAT to promote the acceleration of the green and digital transition as a driver of growth and competitiveness of SMEs in the sector since it enables to fund actions and SME green transition projects that bloom from the CIRCULAR Hub the cluster recently launched. In Transit promotes cooperation between partners and with other innovative systems such as construction, aerospace and advanced manufacturing. Its cross-sector approach enables new business opportunities to be generated, as well as cross-sector innovation.

About In Transit Project
In Transit project aims to strengthen the resilience of textile, aerospace, construction, and advanced manufacturing SMEs towards greener and more digital sectors with social and business model, with a mixed support mechanism including individual assessment support and a lump sum and coaching to ensure their consolidation and sustainability.
The project is led by ATEVAL in Valencia, and counts with strong partners such as Tèxtils.CAT in Catalonia, CTA in Andalusia, CORALLIA in Greece, PRODUTECH in Portugal, Science Park Graz in Austria, TUS (IDEAM Cluster) in Ireland, POLIMI in Italy, IRTJV in France, and CCS in Slovenia.
