Description

The Policy Forum on the Bioeconomy Masterplan for the Danube Region will be held in Ljubljana at the Ministry of Education, Science and Sport of the Republic of Slovenia on 25th of September 2018. The event will be co-organized by the Ministry of Economic Affairs, Labour and Housing Baden-Württemberg, Germany.   

The Policy Forum aims at involving and engaging all the relevant policy makers for developing a Joint Biobased Industry Cluster Policy Strategy. The purpose of the event is to give space to policy, clusters and industry stakeholders to discuss constraints, gaps and concrete actions for uptake of the bio-based industry in the Danube Region. Results of the DanuBioValNet project (cluster mapping, value-chain mapping, roadmapping of most promising value chains - Phytopharma, Eco-construction and Bio-based packaging) serve as an input.

Aligned with the strategy of DanuBioValNet project, the invited audience/participants are policy makers, cluster and industry stakeholder from partners regions. Namely, the project DanuBioValNet is exploring synergies with relevant bio-based platforms and initiatives.
