Congratulations to UNITED VISUAL RESEARCHERS awarded under the SILEO 1st Call for Advanced Technology Uptake Projects!

UVR was created in 2017 to give designers and engineers a more efficient, reliable, and cost-effective way to build, test, and refine multiple prototypes and mock-ups in an interactive way. By combining years of experiences in large industries and scientific research, we developed cutting edge optical simulation software offering physics-based rendering, integrated with virtual reality.

Measure&Predict2 project

Following the Measure&Predict1 business digital project, which enables coordination between bespoke spectral BTDF measurement of materials and the Predict engine simulation tool, Measure&Predict2 advanced project aims to measure a sample library of generic materials provided by the technology supplier MATEREAL and integrate these materials into the Predict engine's initial library. This prototyping phase will allow users to simulate generic scenes using physically accurate materials, resulting in a new offering for UVR and new opportunities for its clients. By selecting relevant materials and developing a corresponding measurement library, UVR and MATEREAL will prepare generic scenes (outdoor/indoor, depending on determined priorities) with standard materials (e.g., for outdoor simulation: concrete of a building, asphalt of a road, paving stone of a sidewalk, metal cladding of a façade).

UNITED VISUAL RESEARCHERS will receive indirect EUR 10.500 from the European Union’s Single Market Programme through the SILEO Eurocluster project (GA 101074564).
