The European Lighting Clusters For Internationalization (ELCA4i) is a network of European lighting clusters. Its overall objective is to gather forces on a European level in order to increase the competitiveness of the SMEs that they represent in the international markets. In order to achieve stronger cluster excellence, we want to share knowledge and good practice among companies, organizations, institutions and NGOs working with innovation, market and industry development. ELCA4i realize concrete steps for long-term trans-national cooperation between clusters and companies to increase business opportunities and positioning in international markets.

-  Participate in the initiatives promoted by the EU Institutions to promote the network among European clusters and participate in specific calls;

- Promote the collaboration among the members for the development of new smart & connected lighting technologies and promote them in specific markets

- Support activities aimed at spreading knowledge of new technologies, methodologies and processes, the improvement of those already in use, including the technological renovation

- Organize seminars, workshops, forums and events designed to deepen issues of interest to members, with particular reference to new technological solutions

- Promote the communication of projects and activities through publishing initiatives, conventions and exhibitions, by any appropriate means, electronic and traditional

- Promote the knowledge of the world of S&CL at industries level, companies, institutions and private individuals;

- Making known to its members the trends of the market in order to promote competitiveness

-.To strengthen the competiveness of the European lighting clusters in the smart and connected lighting (S&CL)

- To accelerate growth within the sector with additional sources of funding for internationalisation activities.
