Start-up company Freggies participated in the New Frontiers in Food Fast Forward (NF4) Innovation Tour to the USA to explore the market opportunities for plant-based snacks. Maduro concepts (Freggies) has been founded in 2017 and has the ambition to make tasty sustainable plant-based snacks that are easy to prepare. From May 12th to the 17th a delegation of 19 agfood SMEs will visit China during the New Frontier in Food (NF4) Innovation Tour. During the Innovation Tour, the delegation will visit Xiamen(Fujian) and Shanghai and participate in matchmaking, multiple company visits, information sessions, B2B meetings and the SIAL China which is one of the three biggest food innovation exhibitions. The New Frontiers in Food Fast Forward (NF4) team is in preparation of the next Innovation Tour. From May 12-18 the next stop will be China. Two locations will be visited during the China Innovation Tour. Xiamen in the Fujian province, in which Foodvalley China is located, will be the first meeting point.
