The partnership of FOSTEX project met on July 10 th and 11 th at the Romanian partner facilities in Bucharest, INCDTP . The partner in charge of the creation of the survey is the Instituto Politécnico de Bragança (IPB) from Portugal, with the feedback and comments of the consortium partners. In a bid to improve the efficiency and sustainability of the European food industry, thirteen partners from eight countries have joined forces in the S3FOOD project. S3FOOD, coordinated by Flanders' FOOD, will supply €3.9 million to help small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in the food industry, make better use of digital technology. The project partners will focus on facilitating and accelerating the use of smart sensor systems for improved quality control, better resource efficiency and a higher level of food safety and traceability – all important steps towards solving central challenges in the agri-food system.

CONTEXT, led by AEI TÈXTILS, has organized its first training school, which will take place from 17th to 20th September in Rethymno (Crete, Greece).
