After this session, the first 6 SMEs, out of 11 pre-finalists, were selected and invited to join the Circularity Programme .

18 SMEs have successfully completed C-Voucher's Circularity Value Replication Programme , that offered: A fixed amount of €15,000 equity-free for a Circular business case creation. Access to the support of a Designer-in-Residence to create and define their road map to incorporate the Circularity Solution in their processes (Feasibility Plan). The VIDA project aims to accelerate the implementation of new solutions (preferably key enabling technologies – KET) in the food sector which improve the usage of water and energy with the ambition to reduce losses and consumption. Partners receive more than 100 funding applications as food processors launch their digital transition. Food SMEs from all over Europe have signalled their keen interest in digitalising production. Altogether, they submitted 104 applications for S3FOOD funding in time for the first call deadline on 14 May. The European network of experts on advanced textile materials, CONTEXT, has started its third grant period. CONTEXT is a Cost Action, which started on October 2018 with the aim of joining efforts at European level to facilitate the market uptake of new advanced textile materials, reducing the gap between research and industry.
