EOCIC: The Second Progress Report on the European Strategic Cluster Partnerships

Submitted by Alina Danieles… on 18 September 2019

The second “Progress Report on the European Strategic Cluster Partnerships”, prepared by the European Observatory for Clusters and Industrial Change (#EOCIC), is now available. This report aims to provide an overview of the results of the second assessment to the second generation of European Strategic Cluster Partnerships for Going International (ESCP-4i). This report also comprises the first analysis of the European Strategic Cluster Partnerships for smart specialisation investments (ESCP-S3).

For the development of this report, the Observatory conducted an online survey among the ESCP-4i and ESCP-S3 to collect data on good practices, challenges, barriers and lessons learnt. The survey was developed and implemented in collaboration with the European Cluster Collaboration Platform (ECCP) to benefit from the synergies between both initiatives.

The European Observatory for Clusters and Industrial Change (#EOCIC) is an initiative of the European Commission’s Internal Market, Industry, Entrepreneurship and SMEs Directorate-General. The Observatory provides a single access point for statistical information, analysis and mapping of clusters and cluster policy in Europe, aimed at European, national, regional and local policy-makers, as well as cluster managers and representatives of SME intermediaries.
