TheCAP Cluster Manual

There are over 2,500 innovation clusters in Europe, yet some argue that the future is being invented outside of Europe. Many clusters are inward looking and acting more as an agglomeration of stakeholders than as active business and innovation creators. But how can we  accelerate the transition from "clusters-as-usual" to "clusters-of-change"? How can clusters and innovation ecosystems create impact and shape the future of Europe?

This short manual ‘Creating Clusters of Change – How cluster managers drive innovation and increase impact’ gives insights into some of the key takeaways, tools and lessons learned from Europe’s first Cluster Accelerator TheCAP which took place at Provadis School of International Management and Technology in Frankfurt in October 2019. The manual (please see attached) includes chapters on leadership, skills, financial models and inspirational best practice sharing as well as practical tools including a Cluster Development Roadmap, Cluster Member Card and Leadership Self-Assessment.
